You can now easily copy the last treatment note

We just released another much requested change!  You can now easily copy the last treatment note you did for a patient.

This is great if your treatment notes are similar each time.  It will copy the last note into your current one, so you can quickly make changes and save it.

It will copy from the last treatment note of the same type, from the same patient.

It's as easy as clicking a link!

Thanks guys!  This is great.  Just a couple of bugs to iron out.  When creating a new note and using this feature:

    1) A draft treatment note is separately created, attached to the relevant booking

    2) The new "copied" treatment note is not associated with any booking.

Thanks Joel - super!  Much appreciated.  Cliniko is great!  I told a cold caller trying to sell me a practice management suite that I would give a kidney and a leg before giving up Cliniko!

Good afternoon gents, my practitioners are having a drama with copying notes. It is changing their appointment date to "none" and of course this does need to be attached to the client in question. Can you help us out with this one?

It's the same 'dropping off' of the appointment that we get when we are amending any invoices on our reception.

    Thanks!

Hey Leona, Thanks for the heads up on the bug, I'm looking into that now!  Can you explain a bit more what you do with editing an invoice that causes the appointment to drop off though?

Sorry on the delayed reply, did you have any luck with the copying of notes? It sounds like it happens only when they are copying another practitioner's notes. We run Pilates/group therapy so often people are seeing more than one practitioner/week but their regime will be quite similar.

The invoices are already finalised & paid but we will open it to change the practitioner to the practice head physio & when we do that it changes the drop down to none & eats the black paid symbol. :) This is probably unusual practice so I understand if it's unfixable.

    Thanks

No update on that one yet, sorry!  We're trying to fix a few issues surrounding the way the appointment date, copy last, and changing templates all work together.

I'm not certain what behaviour I would expect if you changed the invoice to a different practitioner, but it doesn't seem to make sense to me to say an invoice for an appointment is assigned to a different practitioner.  Why do you make the change?

    Hi Jim,

Any updates on being able to copying a treatment note between practitioners?

    Thanks!
