Calendar appointments now require a click instead of hover to see details

We have had plenty of feedback on the usability of our calendar.  Based on your requests (and our testing) we have changed the way you view the details of appointments.  You now can click on an appointment to bring up the details that previously would appear if you hovered over the appointment.

We think this makes a lot of sense and is how we should have done it from the start.  I know it will take a bit of getting used to for those of you quite familiar with the existing behaviour, but we are confident it is short term pain for long term gain in getting used to it again.

Joel, we like it, and also the time line, but since Monday, if we click on an appointment, it no longer has the x in the top right hand corner to close it out.  Also, we are unable to scroll down the page.  I looked through previous posts and saw the warning bar if the zoom is not appropriate but we have never seen that warning.  Not sure what the problem is.

I am not sure how we lost the X, I will look into that and bring it back.  As for the scrolling, I have no answer for that, do you mean scrolling the whole calendar or with the new appointment popup?

I found the X... it is now back on your appointments, sorry about that.   It turns out that deleting it from our code base has the ramification of removing it... who would have thought.
