New report of patients without upcoming appointments

We have added a new report that shows all patients with no upcoming appointments.  This can be a great way to follow up patients that are not booked in at all for any future appointment.  The report will show you when their last appointment was and also how many they have had in total.  It also includes their contact details so you can get in touch with them.  You can even get creative and copy/paste the report into a spreadsheet and do a mail merge to these people.

How can I mail merge to create mail outs without their addresses?

Also is it possible to refine it by how long ago they were last in?

The only way currently is to copy paste it into an spreadsheet.  The page has been setup so that it should do that well.    Any filtering will need to be done in the spreadsheet for now, but we have included the last appointment date so it should be doable.

We will look to improve this in the near future by adding filter parameters and an export option.

How about the address? I can't do a mail out without their addresses and entering them all in manually just defeats the purpose.

Physical mail is so old school... emails are the way of the future!!!

That said, let me see what we can do.

Thanks mate, I still find I get a better response if people get a letter in the mail.

Any ideas if it can be done soon or will it take a while? I want to do a mail out so I need to decide whether it is worth entering all of the archived files into the computer.

    Hi Brett,

I had a look at adding the address to the report but there isn't a lot of room to work with there and also it would still require copy pasting for you.  Instead I have just released an update that adds "Last Appointment" and "Next Appointment" to the patients data export.  This means you can export all of your patient details to CSV and open it in any spreadsheet program, using the spreadsheet program you will be able to filter and only show patients without a "Next Appointment".  I added the "Last Appointment" so you could further restrict by patients that have been in within the last 6 months or something similar.

Please let me know if that does what you need.  Details of the update are here http://support.cliniko.com/entries/21227768-added-last-appointment-and-next-appointment-to-patient-data-export.
