Improvements to revenue reporting

 We have just deployed an update to Cliniko, the changes are:

New revenue reports

We have had lots of feedback to do with practitioner revenue reporting. It seems there is quite a lot of variations on how practices pay commissions to the practitioners. We have added a lot more information to our revenue reports to hopefully let you calculate this information easier.

We have removed the existing practitioner revenue report and replaced it with three new revenue reports:

Practice Revenue

This report will give you revenue information for a selected period across your whole practice, the information includes:

  • Revenue by Practitioner
  • Revenue by Item Type (Services, Products or Other)
  • Detailed Item Type Revenue (ie. a summary of revenue for each service or product you have)

Practitioner Revenue by Closed Invoices

This report provides revenue information for a selected practitioner within a selected period. Only Closed (paid) invoices are included in this report. The Information includes:

  • Revenue by Item Type (Services, Products or Other)
  • Detailed Item Type Revenue (ie. a summary of revenue for each service or product you have)
  • Listing of all invoices included in this report

Practitioner Revenue by Raised Invoices

This report provides revenue information for a selected practitioner within a selected period. All invoices raised within the period are included, whether they are paid or not. The Information includes:

  • Revenue by Item Type (Services, Products or Other)
  • Detailed Item Type Revenue (ie. a summary of revenue for each service or product you have)
  • Listing of all invoices included in this report

Please note: Due to the changes in the way we are reporting practitioner revenue. If you used the previous report for the last period, and use the new reports for the next period, there may be some inconsistencies (ie. a payment may double up or be missed). We recommend you re-run the previous period with these new reports and consolidate any differences.

Fixed extra day issue with reports

The weekly schedule report and also the revenue reports were defaulting to put an extra day in the period (ie. 8 day week or 15 day fortnight). This has been fixed.

Random order of practitioners in calendar

The calendar previously showed practitioners columns in a random order, this meant it could be different each time you look. It will now show them in the order you added the users into Cliniko. It will be the same every time!

Fixed issue of creating invoices without patient

There was an issue occurring that allowed some invoices to be created without patients, this only occurred if there were no patients entered into Cliniko. This has now been fixed, you will not be able to create invoices until you have at least 1 patient.

    Would it be possible to add a column for 'concession type'  in the invoice detail part of this report?
